FAQs for Incoming College Change Students
Your home college will give you your ALT PIN when registering for Summer and Fall 2025 courses. As you wait for Spring grades, we recommend registering for some courses in the College of Business, as long as you meet the prerequisites and there are seats available. Here are a few options of courses:
- ECO 045
- SCM 186
- ECO 119 or 146
- LAW 201
Once we resume our 30-minute appointment slots starting May 1, we suggest meeting with a Business Advisor to help you with next steps and course recommendations. You can set up an appointment via AdvisorTrac at that time.
Once your Spring grades are in, you’ll get a welcome email from your primary advisor with more information about the College of Business and specific course recommendations. You’ll then have all Summer to adjust your schedule and keep an eye out for seat availability in your Business courses.
Once you’re admitted into the College of Business (for the April 1 deadline), your new primary Academic Advisor will send you a welcome email with your ALT PIN so you can register for Summer & Fall 2025 courses during registration week.
We will resume longer-term Academic Planning appointments on Thursday, May 1. Please feel free to set up an appointment with any of the Business Advisors through AdvisorTrac or by contacting your primary Advisor at that time.
If you are applying for the November 1 deadline or after, then you should prioritize taking our required courses to change into the College of Business: ECO 001 and MATH 021/081.
If you have already completed the ECO 001 and MATH 021/081 requirements, you may also consider the following courses, as long as you meet the prerequisites and there are seats available:
- ECO 045
- SCM 186
- ECO 119 or 146
- LAW 201
You will be able to start meeting with a Business Advisor in the Summer if you would like to discuss any further course options.
Applying to the Computer Science and Business (CSB) Honors Program
The CSB degree program is an annual application-based process - applications are accepted January 1 - May 15 and will be reviewed at the end of May, once Spring grades are posted. Admission is dependent on space available in the program. Scheduled or anticipated Summer or Fall coursework cannot be used to satisfy these requirements.
Students applying to join the program must have a minimum GPA of 3.25, earn a B- or better in ECO 001 AND CSE 007 AND (MATH 021 OR MATH 031 OR MATH 076), and have achieved Sophomore standing at the end of the Spring term in which they are applying. Due to impacts on graduation timeline, applications to join CSB are not recommended beyond a student's second year of study at Lehigh.
For additional information, please schedule an appointment with CSB Academic Advisor, Andrea Goff, (ahg212@lehigh.edu).
Applying to the Intergrated Business and Engineering (IBE) Honors Program
It is possible that a small number of exceptional students may be admitted to the program immediately following the completion of their freshman year. If interested, reach out to IBE's Academic Advisor, Jessica Scott, at jes819@lehigh.edu for more details.
